Hello and good Sunday, all. It's a beautiful foggy morning in this corner of the world after three days of on and off rain. Spring has come here, and it is actually warm. Seasonal change has seen Lady Glynis ordering plants for the year and making plans for new landscaping.
I may be one of the few people in this niche of the internet that hasn't seen The Secret. I saw a clip from it last year. That was enough to keep me away from it. It reminded me of an infomercial. I have followed some of the talk about the movie, though.
Chief Happiness Officer, Alexander Kjerulf, has put into words better than I could some of the reasons I didn't see the movie in The law of attraction is real. The movie "The Secret is a fake". Make sure you read the comments. There's a lot of good thought expressed.
Julian, at Julian Walker Yoga, discussed some of the deeper issues about the movie in The Spiritual Cinema. Personal growth and development isn't just about getting the good life.
Finally, in How Do You Want to Live?, Karen Lynch gets to the point. Make your choice and live your life.
For something completely different, The Ethics of Justice: Why Criminal Defense Lawyers Defend the Guilty helps to understand the purpose of criminal defense lawyers, and the importance of what they do.
Have a great day!
