Share A Square Update
September 24th, 2007 by Richard Cockrum
Terrific progress has been made on the Share A Square project being led by Shelly Kneupper Tucker at This Eclectic Life. So far we have contributed over 3600 squares from all over the world. Only 3000 more are needed. That is a lot of crotcheting and knitting going on.
The afghans each contain 48 squares, with each square being made by a different person. Great progress is being made. Many afghans are completed. But, some are waiting because, while there are many squares from people with hearts of love, there aren’t enough squares from enough different people to make each afghan from 48 individuals.
You can help. You can make a difference. Spread the word about Share A Square. Make one square. Make five. Make ten. Send them to Shelly. Don’t wait until you have a bunch. Send them by twos and threes.
If you do want to help, Shelly has put a FAQ page with all the information you need.
