Communication in Action
September 25th, 2007 by Richard CockrumCommunication takes many forms. Sometimes it is words between us. Sometimes it is the touch of a hand on your arm. Other times it is the expression in your eye.
Another form of communication is action. You may have noticed the green ribbon in the sidebar here. Aaron Anglin, brother of fellow writer and blogger Lani Anglin, died in a car wreck at the age of 24. He left behind a wife and two young children. You can help this young widow and her children by sending your prayers, sending your thoughts, and if you are able, click on the donate button to send financial assistance.

Thank you for posting this. I “manage” the donation fund. Unfortunately, donations are already slowing markedly. This young family needs so much help. *Anything* is appreciated.

Hi Jay,
I don’t know Aaron, Lani, or Aleisha. I heard about the accident on April Grove’s blog. I was happy to post about it. I’ve seen families in the same type of situation. It’s difficult.
I moved the ribbon to the top of the sidebar. Maybe it will be get people’s attention better there.

Hello Lani,
In situations like your family’s, I don’t have words.
Love be with you and yours.
