Podcast 26 - Buyer Be Aware

We live in a world with a history, culturally and biologically. There is very little that is actually new in our cultural world.  Ideas, and behavior, have in many respects changed little over the centuries. They are often like houses that, while the foundations remain the same, we remodel a bit and put on a new coat of paint to attract buyers.

Today’s episode is based on Buyer Be Aware, an essay I wrote in August, 2006 to discuss such thoughts in terms of  personal growth and development. I talk about the roots of many personal development techniques, manipulation and persuasion, and world views as models of our experience of the world.
