SOBCon O7 Update
May 14th, 2007 by Richard CockrumI’ve found some new links for SOBCon. They’ve been added to the original post - Sunday Reading - 13 May 2007.
The Idea Dude and founder of the GoodBlogs, Vernon Lun has posted a great series of SOBCon 07 photos on Flickr. As he says, it was a blogger conference, not a blogging conference. That says a lot about the focus of the conference.
Phil Gerbyshak, the relationship geek and one of the speakers for SOBCon, has also posted a series of photos on Flickr. His post, 5 Things I Learned at SOBCon, is a must-read.
Others who have posted their impressions and what they have learned include Hanna Steen in Return from SOBCon!, Lisa Gates in SOBCon07: Why Hugging is a Feast for the Soul of Your Business.
If anyone else has links for their experience of SOBCon 07 they would like to share, let me know and I’ll add them to the original post.

I totally agree Rick. It was all about the people, not the medium.
Thanks for continuing to share great stuff about SOBCon. Looking forward to finding a way to do some mid-week stuff so you can make it!

Phil,
That’s the sense I’ve been getting from what you and others have written. Blogging is a great new use of the internet. The way it can enhance our lives and our humanity is even more fantastic.

Rick, you’ve put it in a wonderful way. re: enhancing our lives and our humanity. I couldn’t agree more. All I ever want to do with my blog is reach out and touch one person a day.

I’ll be blushing in a minute, Vernon.
One person a day - that’s all it will take.

Hi Hannah, and welcome. I enjoyed the stop. I don’t know that I have insights on anything, just things that work for me and I hope others will find useful. Enjoy your reading, and please speak up if you have anything to say.
