Spam Karma 2 Doesn’t Update Total Spam Count

One of the plugins I use here is Dr. Dave’s Spam Karma 2.2. I use it because I didn’t want to register with Wordpress just to get a key to be able to use Aksimet. For the number of readers I get here, and the difficulties that Aksimet can sometimes cause, I think it was a good decision. SK2 quietly does it’s job catching spam with very few false positives and very few comments having to go into moderation for a manual decision.

A few weeks ago I changed Shards to Wordpress 2.1. Around the same time I started doing podcasts using Podpress and installed a dofollow plugin. Since that time, while Shards is receiving upwards of 200 spam comments a day, and SK2 is catching them as it should, the total spam count that SK2 maintains has never been updated and remains stuck at 163. I tried going to the wiki for SK2, to find out about it, but get an internal server error.

It’s minor, I know, because the important job of eating spam is being done, but has anyone else had this problem, and do you know how to fix it?
