Sunday Reading 2007-02-25 - Random Gleanings
February 25th, 2007 by Richard CockrumIt’s been a hectic week. Our furnace continues to be problematic, even though the repairman was here, and the battery on my laptop has decided to go south. The exterior manifestations of interior turbulence make themselves felt. Fortunately, I’ve found that my 23000 BTU kerosene heater can adequately replace a 75000 BTU gas furnace, even when the outdoor temperature goes down to 8 degrees Fahrenheit, and I’ve ordered a new battery for the laptop.
My first find of the week is the nakedpastor’s How To Be You (2BU). Tongue firmly in cheek, but as serious as they come, David lists ten ways to be more who you really are.
For anyone interested in what’s going on over the internet in personal development blog, The Ultimate Personal Development Index lists the most current posts from a wide range of sites. If you’ve never been there, take a look. If you write a personal development blog, be sure to submit it to the index while you’re there.
The publisher of the Personal Development index also has a blog. Through his/her post, 3 x 3 Most Popular GTD I found Next Action, a browser-based todo list and project tracker. I use Amibook for most of my work, but it doesn’t yet have a way to group tasks by project. While it has some rough edges, Next Action is looking to be a handy way to keep track of my projects. Check it out.
Enjoy your reading, and have a great week!
