The Law of Attraction - It Just Works
October 27th, 2006 by Richard CockrumStarbucker over at Ramblings From a Glass Half Full has a thing he does every once in a while he calls Friday Shout Outs. It’s a good idea, so I’ve decided to continue the tradition here - letting you know about articles on other sites I’ve read in the past week that were interesting, useful, or just plain fun that you may not have seen.
My first shout out goes to Gleb at the Personal Development Ideas Blog. He has developed a customized search engine of personal development blogs. Check it out, and if you have a personal development site, add it to the search engine. It can only get more useful to all of us.
In case you haven’t heard about it, the Law of Attraction is another way of saying you create your own reality. What you are, what you put out into the world, determines what you get back from it. Different variations on this theme have been in the air this week.
Wendy at eMoms at Home has been showing how the Law of Attraction works, and her recent experience with it. You can see details in her post on Becoming a Top Blogger Vs Building a Successful Business, and the follow-up at The Results of Putting my Own Advice into Action = $$.
Steve at The Fast Lane has been dealing with similar issues in Why The Law Of Attraction May Not Be Working For You As Well As It Could. Just like Wendy, he found out the answers to questions, and the response to a belief can come fast. See the follow-up in Is It A Coincidence?
If you ask me, these four articles are life responding to all of us

Thanks for the mention, Rick. Since I posted Is It A Coincidence?, I’ve had some amazing events happen. Wendy at eMoms at Home took some time to help me address some issues, and I can’t say enough good things about her. I’m finding that there are a lot of people out there that just…get it.
Thanks again!

Hey Steve,
That’s great news! I think it’s like learning to ride a bike, or becoming an overnight success after 10 years work.

Hi Rick,
If I had to pick one aspect of personal development, the Law of Attraction would be my first choice because it holds a multitude of good.
Speaking of attraction, I’m really attracted to this ’shout out’ idea and think I’ll jump on the bandwagon.

Hi Carolyn,
I’m still getting a handle on how most people define personal development. It seems to cover a wide spectrum of beliefs and practices. The Law of Attraction seems pretty broadly based, though called different things and looked at from different angles. I think it has its roots in the old Hermetic axiom ‘As above, so below’.
The blogging world is so big, we don’t see most of it. The shout out sounds cool, and it’s a great way to guide each other to things we may otherwise miss. I like a good idea.

Hi Rick,
It would seem personal development necessarily covers many beliefs and practices to give each person room to develop.

I thought some of your visitors might be interested in learning more about the law of attraction. It’s a law of attraction resource website I’ve put up with free law of attraction articles, videos and audios about the law of attraction that will transform your way of thinking, doing, being and having.

Great article. I have been using the law of attraction for years. It has really exploded since “The Secret”. It’s great to see so many other people living the law of attraction and leading others to LOA resources.
Much like the personal development search engine there is now an LOA directory. You can post an add for whatever it is you do as long as you are LOA Friendly, and it’s free to search through the directory. It’s an idea a long time coming!
Have an amazing day!
