Using Notescript (Lesson 3)

Introduction

I hope you’ve been practicing the previous words and starting to use the notescript in your daily writing. You will already be seeing an increase in your writing speed.

This lesson gives the next 24 most common words in written English, bringing the total to 76.

Note that in this lesson, while I give sentences to practice, you should have enough experience that you can check the exercises for yourself. As usual, memorize the notescript and practice writing the words before you do the exercises.

  1. Take my dog to the park and walk him for an hour.
  2. Please, let us be quiet while we take our pens and books out for the history lesson once more.
  3. We have to go out for the night next week on Tuesday.
  4. Did you ask her about the cat she promised to send to the vet?
  5. Who will take our good coats and put them up in the cupboard?

  7. We could make a care for his birthday, or we could say it is not our responsibility.
