Problogger List Post Project
August 18th, 2006 by Richard CockrumDarren Rouse at Problogger has been running a group project on writing list-type post. He does group writing projects like this for a variety of reasons, but everyone wins with increased traffic and exposure. I submitted Five Ways to Make Yourself Miserable. You can view all of the entries here. I have no idea how he actually had time to look at all of these. Here are some of my favorites. Some are helpful, some are informative, others are just plain fun. Enjoy reading, and make sure you take a look at the complete list.

You are fast! I just posted this.
Thank you for the compliment. I\’m one of the silent lurkers at your site. I read it most days, but don\’t normally say anything.

Thanks for listing my list on your short list. How many times can I use the word list in a sentence, anyway thanks for the link.

Thanks for including my post in your list, Rick, and glad to have found your blog as a result of Darren’s project. My husband’s an Illinois man too!

*tips hat*
Thank you, sir. Your list was a good read, too.

Hey Chris. You could have gotten \’list\’ into that sentence a couple of more times. I think computers are involved in The Register\’s Rise of the Machines.

Hi Tammy. I liked the tack you took to arguments. Laugh while you cry. Illinoisans are all over. It\’s surprising how many of us are not in Illinois, though.

No problem Statler. It amazes me to see the inner workings of search bots this way. And thank you for the tip of the hat.

Hi Rick! Thanks for including me on your list of links! I really appreciate the list itself as well. It reads like a “best of” to me personally — I think we enjoy reading similar stuff.
About your Five Ways to Make Yourself Miserable list, I know that #2 has applied to me from time to time (more in the past than now — thankfully). Great post!

Cuileann, I\’m glad you liked the list. Unfortunately, I\’ve done all the things on my list to some extent. That\’s how I know they work.

Thank you for stopping in phd! I stop by your place occasionally. How can I not? I live in Beaver County.

Hi Yvonne! No, you\’re not late. We do have other lives. I, for example, have been on the run all day and just now how a few minutes to get caught up here.
I enjoyed talking too. Tuesday night\’s are a kind of mini vacation for me.

What can I say, Sasha. I thought it was excellent corporate speak for the job position.
